SLURM Workload Manager

This tool is used to launch tasks on the computing resources.
It allows:
  • selecting computing resources adjusted to the needs of the user and defined by the workload manager commands;
  • launching parallel tasks, table tasks or tasks which employ additional hardware resources (e.g. GPU) or dedicated software;
  • creating relationships between the ordered tasks and informing the user about the start and completion of a certain task.
Access to the workload manager is through the ui.wcss.pl access server, which can be logged in to via a remote desktop (NoMachine) or via the terminal (ssh).
