SSL certificates

The SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate is a network security protocol that ensures the confidentiality of data transmission. The data transferred between the web browser and the web server is encrypted and remains private and protected against unauthorized access.
  • The SSL certificate is issued on the basis of a verified right to own a DV domain (Domain Validation), and it is the fastest method owing to shortened and simplified verification procedures.
  • The SuperFAST SSL certificate is issued by the national DomenySSL Authorization Center which ensures easier contact and clear rules while maintaining global online safety standards.
  • A Wildcard SSL certificate enables the encryption of not only the root domain, but also all first-order subdomains.
Server admins may apply for a certificate for servers in the pwr.edu.pl domain, by sending the CSR file to tcs@wcss.pl
